EJF makes a direct link between protecting the environment and the people and wildlife that depend upon it. We believe that environmental security is a basic human right and that everyone has the right to a safe and secure natural environment which enables them a sustainable livelihood. Through the provision of our training programmes we empower local grassroots partners to investigate, expose and peacefully resolve abuses to their natural environment and defend their basic human rights.
